I still have a copy of Guillotine! I even play it occasionally, though I’ll admit it doesn’t come out very often.
I think I have wider tastes in games than many people; I talk about heavy Euros as “not really my sort of thing” but if that’s what’s getting played, as long as there’s something interesting to do I can usually still enjoy myself while inevitably losing.
I think it’s very easy to say to oneself “I’m doing X videos a month, I’m happy to do a podcast as well” or something like that, adding a bit here and a bit there, and soon enough it’s taking up all one’s time.
Thank you for your message. It’s good to hear that you’re happy to play pretty much anything. I think I’m the same. I have preferences, but I’m always open to try something new or play what others like to play. With regards to how much time making videos, writing articles and making podcasts takes, yes, it’s one of those things that creeps up on you. As long as it’s still fun, it’s all right though.
